Meredith Ryzewski

“Great ruler,”
a being that leads with pride and support. Has “a sense of power and strength.” Someone that shows great confidence in their multitude of success that has been obtained through long uphill battles, sweat, tears, trauma. An unused white colored pencil on white paper, whose determination told them to stay in the pack of bright, beautiful colors until its moment arrived with colored paper. Someone who brings loads of love for no one to take, but salvages the broken pieces to love themself. Someone who builds themself from the ground up to prove that life is what you make of it and you only live this life once. Someone who chooses love over fame and fortune, who shows their love and passion by shouting it over the rooftops, who gives more than they take to improve this splitting world day after day. A masterpiece being made and admired by a now-used white colored pencil who gains a sense of pride through their hard work and patience. Someone whose idea of success and fulfillment is coming home to someone or something they love, someone who takes the time to cherish small moments because they know that they will never be relived, who invites those into their bandaged heart so their hearts can be bandaged too, someone who isn’t afraid to fight for their beliefs with or without people by their side, someone who invites everyone to join and excludes no one, someone who is known for kindness and not intelligence, who people follow at all stages of life so they can be bandaged to cover wounds and scars to come back stronger, someone who isn’t afraid to be messy get their hands dirty and work as hard as they can so they can get the work done right, no matter how long it takes, a “great ruler.”
