About Rhubarb Pie
Rhubarb Pie is a literary magazine by and for the students and staff of Wachusett Regional High School.
As with so many origin stories, the beginnings of Rhubarb Pie have been somewhat obscured by time. According to the yearbook archive, Wachusett's literary magazine began as Reflections in 1969.

It continued under that name until 1981 when the name was changed to rhubarb pie by Ms. Rubenstein and Mr. Moore. Ms. Rubenstein continued to support and publish the magazine until 2015.
After a brief respite, the much-loved Ms. Reynolds and I renewed Rhubarb Pie in 2018. Working together over the last five and a half years, we expanded it to include more art and moved the magazine online to make it more available and easier to publish.
With Ms. Reynold's departure in 2023, Mr. Keddy has joined the executive editorial team on the magazine. With the knowledge, skills, and department support he brings, we've already expanded the art and photography in the most recent edition. Looking forward, we envision crafting a magazine guided by thematic topics and more creatively engaged with the Wachusett community.
Regardless of editors or direction, however, Rhubarb Pie remains an open and inclusive art space where Wachusett's students and staff can publish their original work to improve their craft and showcase their skills.
